Waiting For Morning

I have not finished a book so fast before. Its one of those books that you can't stop reading after you start.

I believe that I did not pick this book up by chance. You see, this book is about forgiving and dealing with your disappointments with God. For many years, I have been a very angry person. Angry to the point that I refused to pray or read the Bible. This book made me tear in the bus. It made me stay up till 3am in the morning to complete it. When I read it, I felt like I could relate to the main character.

To summarize it, its about how a Christian mother shut God out of her life, after her husband and elder child was killed by a drunk driver. She became bitter, angry, neglected her surviving child and refused to talk to God. Its really worth reading.

A new start

I started blogging back in 2003, and had breaks in between. Previously using Xanga, Multiply and Tumblr, but I guess after Facebook came out, no one really blogs anymore. Except those that blog for a living. Well, I can't write as well as they can, and I certainly don't have exciting lives like they have.

Which makes me wonder, why did I even bother starting a blog here. Well, apparently, Xanga is like a dead town now. All my previous subscribers have stopped blogging/reading. And apparently, during my rebel days, my mom's friend found out my Multiply blog and let her read it. It was like an invasion of privacy to me. So, *shuts Multiply*. I don't even want to start on Tumblr, lol. Not that it was not a good blog to use, I just didn't feel like blogging there.

Ok, let's see how long I'll last here.
