Freedom in a week's time!

Ok, I'm a lazy blogger. Anyway, next Friday is my last day of work. I'm so happy! Can't wait to leave this place. Of course there's a fear of not being able to find employment. Heck. Anyway, good thing I didn't go to the staff camp. Heard it was so spiritual and holy. I'm definately not in a v godly mood recently.

June 4th 2011.

The day I had a grand mal at my relative's home, in front of practically 3/4 of my family members. But its weird, I don't feel as uneasy or unhappy as 5 over years back when I had my first grand mal.

In the past, I'll get really upset when people asked me about it, and I was super depressed. Well, I still get depressed at times (cannot find bf la, fat la, not pretty la, sick of work la), but its better and more controlled. And I'm definately not going to see a shrink and have to eat more meds for it. I'm going to make sure I snap out of depression, myself.

I'm kinda glad that I can shrug it off and laugh at myself now. I did try to search deep down, to ask myself if I was wearing a mask. But I think, it was truly me, laughing at myself.

I guess that's a good sign. The only irritating part was my parents nagging at me for not sleeping enough, which I do.

Biopsy is on Tuesday. Hope its nothing serious.

Finally the GE is over

I must say I'm not so satisfied with the results. 6 seats. Even though that is 4 seats more than before, it is still not enough for more voices to be heard. I hope Potong Pasir will get a chance to revote. Those who purposely spoiled their votes, shame on you!

These few days, I've had minor and major disagreements with several people over my choice of vote. And I must say I'm truly disgusted with how some people vote.

1) Oh I don't really care. I follow who my parents vote for.

Erm, sooo.... if your parents are drug lords, you will follow suit also?

2) I'm apathetic to politics. And I'm tired of people telling me who to vote for. PAP founded SG and I think PAP is good enough because I can walk the streets at 3am safely, SG is clean and I have a decent job.

Please specify which part of SG are you talking about? Try walking at Geylang at 3am in the morning. And didn't you know gangfights are getting worse in SG? PAP did not found SG, dammit! Voters like this are just plain self centered. They have the me-myself-and-I attitude. It's thanks to people like this, that people who truly care about SG do not have enough voices!

3) You shouldn't break what is not broken! You must vote with reason! Not with your heart!

My dear friend, it was broken LONG ago. Back in the 80s. Go do your research before attempting to debate with me. And I AM voting with reason, thank you very much.

4) Wah! This infamous blogger write so well! You all must read her blog before deciding to vote!

Can you please get your facts right from proper sources? Got CNN, Straits Times, Google, Yahoo News, you don't want to read, you go and read the blog of a shallow and materialistic person who is so obviously bias in her postings.

5) Our ministers' pay are so high cos they have to keep SG safe and uncorrupted!

Hahahahahahaha. Seriously, you think so?

6) Why u like opposition! U like Aljunied so much u go there stay la! Eh don't forget ah (inserts personal verbal attack).

Hello, please grow up and act your age. By making a personal attack on me on a public platform, I can easily sue you for slander.

People people, your vote, your choice. Why slam me for my choice? Why attack me for just giving some harmless advice? You ask me for my views, then come and insist I must listen to you and change my views. Why are you people such fanatics! Are you all that insecure about PAPs' position in government? Gosh, you guys are even worse than Jehovah's Witnesses!

I am glad that I took the liberty to read up, ask questions and do research on these politicians. At least I didn't make a fool out of myself when you guys tried to shoot me down. I'm thankful for the new friends I've made who educated me, shocked me and trusted me with what they know.

Till 2016!!! 12 seats!!!!

Waiting For Morning

I have not finished a book so fast before. Its one of those books that you can't stop reading after you start.

I believe that I did not pick this book up by chance. You see, this book is about forgiving and dealing with your disappointments with God. For many years, I have been a very angry person. Angry to the point that I refused to pray or read the Bible. This book made me tear in the bus. It made me stay up till 3am in the morning to complete it. When I read it, I felt like I could relate to the main character.

To summarize it, its about how a Christian mother shut God out of her life, after her husband and elder child was killed by a drunk driver. She became bitter, angry, neglected her surviving child and refused to talk to God. Its really worth reading.

A new start

I started blogging back in 2003, and had breaks in between. Previously using Xanga, Multiply and Tumblr, but I guess after Facebook came out, no one really blogs anymore. Except those that blog for a living. Well, I can't write as well as they can, and I certainly don't have exciting lives like they have.

Which makes me wonder, why did I even bother starting a blog here. Well, apparently, Xanga is like a dead town now. All my previous subscribers have stopped blogging/reading. And apparently, during my rebel days, my mom's friend found out my Multiply blog and let her read it. It was like an invasion of privacy to me. So, *shuts Multiply*. I don't even want to start on Tumblr, lol. Not that it was not a good blog to use, I just didn't feel like blogging there.

Ok, let's see how long I'll last here.
